WOULD 'TUNDE FOWLER' BECOME THE NEXT CBN GOVERNOR?

Williams Babatunde Fowler

All things being equal, seems likely that one of the major contenders for the post of the next Governor of highest Bank in Nigeria might most probably be, the boss of the FIRS, Mr. Babatunde Fowler, who by all indices and indication has done exemplarily well.

From all available reports we are getting, we hear that the 'tax guru', who prior to his present assignment and post had been the tax boss in Lagos, which unarguably is Nigeria's number 1 state in all ramifications. Before Mr. Williams Babatunde Fowler became the boss, executive chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and chairman of the Joint Tax Board, he had gallantly shown his exemplary mettle as the boss of the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service, where he had more than helped to triple the revenue from tax in the state and even helped to bring some major reforms and sanity to tax collection, tax administration in the center of excellence. It was because, what he was able to achieve was so glaring for all to see, that he was somewhat conscripted to do same at the Federal level too, and we hear that like the man in charge at the Customs and Excise agency and like the man alao in charge at JAMB both of who have performed exceptionally and excellently, he has not disappointed at all too.

So with such a record of achievements that's so glaringly visible, many are already speculating that the next big step for him, might be for him to take over from the current Governor of the apex bank-Mr. Godwin Emefiele whose tenure would soon be expiring, June of 2019 to be more precise. Emefiele the forner MD/CEO of Zenith Bank was appointed to his post on June 3, 2014 for an initial 5 years term, which is renewable by the President, if he so wish,

Though we hear that Mr. Babatunde Fowler is well content to remain at his post as the 'Nigerian tax boss', but he is also not aversed to and would also be favorably disposed to showing his mettle again, if called to a higher office and higher responsibilities as the Governor of the apex bank too. Those who would love him to switch and take up the post are of the good opinion that he is more than eminently qualified for it. Which truly he is.

Mr. Fowler, 62, he would be clocking 63 come August 12, 2019 has had the privilege to have had an exemplarily private and public services career. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater in the US, with a Bachelors in science in Economics and a minor in political science, he went on to get a 2nd degree from the California state university, Los Angeles where he also went on to obtain his MBA too.  He began his career path at Avon Products Inc in the US, before he was employed by Johnson & Johnson in New Jersey, it was from there he was subsequently transferred to Johnson and Johnson, Nigeria afterwards. In 1984 he took a new career path, when he switched from international finance and marketing to embrace banking.

From 1984 till 2004, he dazzled all comers in his new career path, growing steadily from Commercial Bank (Credit Lyonais) where he left as a branch manager after a meritorious 6 years service, heading the only branch of that bank outside her head office. In 1990, he moved to one of the biggest banks then, Chartered Bank as a Senior Manager. He worked there from 1990 till 2004, a good 14 years. From being the head of branch networks, where from just 2 branches he grew the network to 11 in just 5 years. He also became the head of revenue collections for both states and Federal agencies and it was here that he showed he was a guru par excellence. Taking his bank to the position of 3 amongst all the banks in revenue collection. He left the bank as a General Manager in 2004.

Upon leaving the banking world in 2004, he joined the Lagos State Government as permanent secretary/executive chairman of the Lagos State Board of  Internal Revenue. That agency of Government became autonomous in 2006 and Mr. Fowler became the 1st ever CEO of LIRS & the Executive chairman of the Lagos State Board of Internal Revenue. There began the best years of the Lagos State Government.

With what Mr. Fowler introduced, the monthly revenue of Government leaped extraordinarily from  3.6 billion monthly to 6times what it used to be. The improvements were so much that, it made Lagos State the only state in Nigeria that's independent of the monthly financial allocation from the the Federation account revenue. In fact Lagos State is the only state in the federation that generates her own revenue far in excess of what she gets from the Federation account.

Now the model that he introduced in just a state then and made to work for all of 9 years from 2006 till 2015, he has carried again to the Federal now and it has been yielding extraordinary returns & results too, to the admiration of all. Mr  Fowler is an outspoken advocate against over reliance on oil revenue which has been dwindling.

So from every angle one can look at it, to scrutinize it, the Executive Chairman of the FIRS/Joint Tax Board is more than qualified enough to take over at the Central Bank Nigeria (CBN).

Would he become the Governor?

Let's wait and see. All we are saying though is, who the cap fits, let him or her wear it.

As an aside, a bird 🐦, had whispered in our ear, saying that the forner Governor of Gombe State, who was also a former Accountant General of the Federation, who in fact had had an 11 years stint at the CBN before in the person of 'Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo', 57, who is in fact not an APC party member, but of the PDP might be interested in the post too🙄🤔.

GOVERNOR ELECT OF OGUN STATE, PRINCE DAPO ABIODUN IN A TESTIMONY RECOUNTS THE MOUNTAIN HE HAD TO OVERCOME TO BECOME THE GOVERNOR ELECT

Prince Dapo Abiodun

25 YEARS RELATIONSHIP/FRIENDSHIP COUNTED FOR NOTHING OVER AMBITION.

The gentleman Governor Elect of Ogun state, recounts what 25 years of friendship meant to the outgoing Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun. He also recounts how because of his ambition he was sent on a fool's errand, by the outgoing Governor.

Read his testimony at a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, in London below. This testimony was written verbatim by Mr. Tolani Abati, aka the Prof.

AMOSUN AND I HAVE BEEN FRIENDS FOR OVER 25 YEARS AND YET......DAPO ABIODUN

Mr Dapo Abiodun, the governor elect of Ogun State gave the testimony of his sojourn in the mine field and sharks invested waters of politics at the Redeemed Christians Church of God, London parish recently which has been trending on YouTube for some days now.

Here is the abridged version of the testimony as transcribed.

"Someone say alleluia . I sneaked into the church this morning, I was sitting at the back because I didn't want to cause any sensation.

I spent the last one year in the campaign train, talking and sharing my vision with the people of Ogun State and largely Nigerians.

I came into London just to have a me time. Pastor Agu has been my friend for many years. He decided that I should come and sit in front. Pastor Badejo is someone who is close to my family and I. As he preaches and shares the testimony, he began to prick my conscience. And as the service progressed, it was all about testimonies and I thought that, God will not forgive me if I didn't come forward to share a bit of my testimony and my holy God moment.

My name is Dapo Abiodun. I am the governor elect of Ogun State. I am a member of of Redeemed Christian Church of God London (applause). I stand here to the testimony of the wholesomeness of the almighty God and the fact that God is greater than man.
God will be God and man will continue to be man. Because if it were man, I will not be the governor elect of Ogun State today.

I will share a few things with you and I will be very brief. I have been in the private sector but I have always had the passion for politics.

In 1997, I made my first showing in politics. I ran for senate and I became senator elect. I was the youngest ever elected in Nigeria. I was so young there was controversy that I was probably too young to be sworn in. Because, the age limit then was 40 and I was quite not 40.

Fortunately or unfortunately the Head of State then died and that republic came to an end.
I tried again in 2015. I was persuaded to run for the senate . I didn't quite win. I was rigged out. I went to court and I won at the tribunal . It went on to appeal and it was overturned. I was so unhappy that I thought to myself, this should be it . I am done with politics. God is telling me something. I must just face my business. That politicians are not trustworthy. They are not reliable. That politics is just a waste of resources and money and all that.

In 2017, I had an unfortunate incident. I lost my first son. Life couldn't have dealt me a worse blow. For over six months I could not function. I could not go to work. I became completely restless.

In 2018, someone came to me and said would I consider going back to politics? I said never. Time after time I will be talked to . Then it was suggested that I should go for senate. Senate? I said I was not interested. I have done it twice , I am not  interested. God definitely doesn't want me to be a senator.
As time goes on, someone asked me if I would consider being a governor. I said that I will consider. But I will first go to God and hear what God has to say about it.
To cut a long story short , I became convinced that God indeed wanted me to be governor of Ogun State. I could not explain it. I sat down with the incumbent Governor (Amosun). I had a chat with him. Of course he said no, never. I will offer you the senate. I said I don't want the senate.

Eventually our pastor prof, that is the vice president intervened and said may be you should consider the senate. I said okay, alright, I will do it. Only to find out that the incumbent governor (Amosun) that indeed offered me senate, did not actually mean it. He was actually just leading me on. And when it became clearer, I went back to Pastor prof and I said, Pastor prof, God is telling me something. I am going to be the next governor of Ogun state.

Church, like Pastor Agu said, it was probably the most turbulent, the most bumping, the most challenged and the most difficult of all the elections in Nigeria.
From my primary process, the incumbent governor did everything humanly possible to stop me. This is considering the fact that, the incumbent governor has been a friend of mine for over 25years.

He did everything humanly possible to stop me. But at every point in time, I serve a living God (applause). The God that I serve is a God that makes impossible possible.
He is a God that makes a way even where there appears to be no way.
People have asked me what keeps me going ? What drives me ? And I said to them, first I am a testimony of God mercy. Pastor Agu knew when I had an accident and I had to be flown here (London) against all odds. My faith in God is a mountain moving faith.

My favourite passage in the  Bible is Mark 11 chapter 23. (He quotes)...................

BUT TRULY WHERE IS 'BIOLA OKOYA?

Biola Okoya

A couple of years ago, there was no A-class occasions or events, be it soirees, shindig call it whatever you want, that you wouldnt have seen the 1st daughter of the billionaire industrialist, Aare Razak Akanni Okoya of the Eleganza Fame, that's talking about the gorgeous, then sumptuously stylish 'Abiola Okoya' but better known as 'Biola Okoya.

But since we last saw her about 2 to 3 years ago, when she briefly came out of her self imposed anonymous cocoon, like a bear on deliberate hibernation throughout the winter months or periods, she seems to have receded back again into that cocoon. As she gone on the mountain? Is it some spiritual hibernation of some sort? Or is it just her, just deliberately cutting off from all the plenty noise and the plenty plastic people that used to surround her?

Gone are the days when at least once a month, you are too sure to see her, somewhere, someplace having loads fun. Like someone once described Biola in her hey days or hell raising days, she was 'the life and soul of the party'. But now one doesn't even see her at all again!!!

It has been speculated that one of the reasons, she might have decided to go totally off the radar, giving the unnecessary popularity and notoriety and partying a wide berth, might be because she has become a more circumspect, more spiritual, more religious person. It has been claimed that since Biola became a Christian, she was actually born a moslem, as her renowned dad and mom are practicing moslems, though there's the unconfirmed rumor that Alhaja Kuburat, Biola's mom herself too, like her daughter has embraced Christianity, very strongly.

Since she became a practicing Christian of a few years running now, she now leads a life away from the boozing and fun of yester years. Giving more credence to the scriptures that says 'behold old things have passed away, behold the new things".

At 52 now, she clocked that age in February of 2019 & with 2 teenage kids to the boot, the formerly married Biola, who has remained a spinster ever since then, who wouldn't chill out at some point in life??? Like it has been said before, when we grow up, is that time we have attained maturity. Maybe that's what has finally happened!!!!!

UCHE AJENE-AYERE. HOW MORE STUPENDOUSLY STUNNING CAN A BRIDE BE?

On Saturday, April 27, 2019 one of the newest married couple in Nigeria, in the persons of Uche and Sonnie Ayere held their wedding reception at the Landmark Event Centre, in what has been described by those who had the privilege to witness the party as one of the most upscale private parties they have ever attended.

It was lush in any and every way you might want to look at it. Quite upscale it was too. It was well managed from all indications, in fact it was said it would rate as 5-stars plus.  Everything as expected was topnotch. That's including the guests that attended, be it the family members and others too and the fashion itself was off the hook.

Truth be told, we didn't attend the party itself as we were at another upscale event just a stone throw away. But from all the accounts we got, a big kudos must be given to the couple and all of those that handled the management of the event for them. The flowers were much and that must have cost a good deal too.

And what a gorgeous bride!!!! One that every grrom would have loved to walk down the aisle gladly. In fact, she looked 'screamingly scrumptiously beautiful and gorgeous' all the way. Sonnie knows he is a lucky fella. From Uche's badass makeup, done by the undoubted master and 'czarina of make up artistry herself', her royal majesty, 'Banke Meshida-Lawal'- the authentic make-up artist to the stars, celebrities and super well to do, to the beautiful well coiffed hair, to the maturely, white sexy lacey wedding gown with the long tail and even to the wearer herself, it's so obvious that attention to the minutest detail, was a clear watchword.

How more beautiful, how more stunning can a bride be? Especially one like this Cinderella who is already a mother of 3!!! Mennnnnn, she's taken care of herself very very well over the years. And we are too sure that the handsome hunk of man that the husband is, must be gloating in self admiration, for finding his gorgeous gem without an equal.

Again we say, congrats!!!!

ABIMBOLA MICHAEL ADENUGA ADDS A YEAR. AS SHE CLOCKS 33 ON EXACTLY THE DAY HER DAD ALSO CLOCKS 66!

Abimbola Michael Adenuga

Normally we wouldn't do this for most golden spooned, but for this super well behaved and gorgeous soul we would do. Her name is 'Abimbola Michael Adenuga', 33. And just by that surname alone, we know you would have quickly deduced who she is.

She in fact, is the delightsome daughter, one of the daughters of the man that, a boss in the industry refers to as the "spirit of Africa", the guru, the bull, the best kept secret. But we also add to all of that, the enigma, the incomparable philanthropist, the humanist, the man of his time, a God-blessed man.l, a great man of destiny. The billionaire, the African billionaire at that, who left to himself, prefers to remain in his own quiet cocoon. The most celebrated, most ebullient, African billionaire to date. And that's talking about the one and only "Otunba Dr. Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga" Jnr, born April 29, 1953. This is the man whose other name should have been MIDAS.

Many of those that know him and greatly admire have said it in whispers that, Dr. Mike Adenuga aka the bull, is far far wealthier than speculated and might in fact be the richest African ever. If he is already the 2nd richest African and black man on the face of the earth and he is speculated to be richer, then that it is very staggering. Without a doubt, he is probably one of the biggest property owners in the whole of Nigeria.

But it's not the father, Dr. Adenuga, who is the 'Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger', GCON, the 'Companion of the Star of Ghana', CSG & 'Commander of the French Legion', CFL, that's in the spotlight here today though he should be. All of those titles mentioned, are the highest civilian titles those countries can bestow on any. Truth be told he doesn't love the unnecessary attention too much. Rather it's one of his daughters, the one that most refers to as the 'most humble' and the 'most beautiful' of them all and some even goes further to say, she's probably the 'most stylish' one too. We have all accepted that Jide is the most handsome of his sons, followed by Paddy, the 2nd son. But when it comes to the daughters, Abimbola takes the cake. Added to her gorgeousness is her unrivaled, unpretentious humility that is totally disarming. We have even encountered it in close quarters too and we say that with all sense of humility.

Abimbola is her father's girl in many ways. She has inherited her dad's abhorrence for unnecessary publicity. Just like her dad, who clocks 66 today, Monday, April 29, 2019, she also clocks 33. 66, that's a whole 3 scores and 6 years. A number who for only those that understands numerology, means so much. 6 is actually the number of man and there is what it actually represents and when it occurs twice or thrice there's also what it represents too. Otunba Mike Adenuga is an undoubted man of destiny.

Otunba's gorgeous and brilliant daughter Abimbola, who is the major focus of this write up was actually born on the same exact date as her dad, April 29, 1986 to be more precise, that's 33 years ago. Meaning just as he clocked 33 his daughter came. So anytime her dad is celebrating his birth, so also the brilliant 'Executive Director' at Conoil, what a lucky girl! It's not just about being born, it's also about being born on the exact date as your brilliant, enigmatic billionaire dad, there's the special connection that would have added to the whole mix or relationship too.

Happy birthday to the bull and a more exciting one to a well trained daughter, who doesn't carry unnecessary air about herself. More great and good years ahead insha Allah.

NIGERIA'S MOST GENEROUS, MOST BENEVOLENT RICH MAN-DR. TAIWO OLAYINKA AFOLABI CLOCKS 57.

Marriott Ikeja GRA

Even the heavens are celebrating. They are rejoicing on this day without reservations, that's the birthday of 'Dr. Taiwo Olayinka Afolabi', the Executive Chairman of Sifax Group. There's no gainsaying about this man's benevolence. His generosity is incomparable. If he would have allowed, which he would never ever do, we can tell you that the garlands that he would  have received from the too many of those he had helped, on such a day like this would just have been too too many.

It seems also that there's something so extra special about April 29. At least we know 2 people born on that day or date that are billionaires. Apart from Otunba Dr. Mike Adenuga Jnr, who is 66 today, the other person we also know, who is also a very liquid fellow, is the one that is the subject matter of this write up, in the person of Dr. Taiwo Olayinka Afolabi, who was born on April 29, 1962. Making him 57 year old today.

This lawyer by training, having graduated from the famous University of Lagos with a law degree, is man who by the dint of hardwork and God's benevolence has risen to become one of the richest Nigerian presently today.

His Sifax Group, which he set up in the 80s, 1988 to be more precise, after he left paid employment in a company owned by his uncle, is a growing super conglomerate that is into shipping, oil and gas, haulage, aviation & hospitality. One of the subsidiaries under the group, Sahco just last week was listed by the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

If everything goes according to plan, the brilliant barrister at law, who while growikh had wanted to be an Accountant, would be opening to the world, a 5 star, 251 hotel in Ikeja, GRA that would be called the Marriott Ikeja GRA. Like we had said before above. Dr. Taiwo, whose doctorate he got from the University of Jerusalem, rose from a humble beginning and got his initial entrepreneurial training from his mom, Alhaja Ayisat Afolabi, who he refers to as a '1st class trader'. Then later on in life, he fell in love with the maritime sector, when he worked for his uncle's freight forwarding company where he quickly climbed on in rank to become a 'Clearing Manager'. From that time on, he never looked back again and the sky from then had just continued to be his stepping stone.

From Akowonjo, a suburb of Lagos now to Osborne, Ikoyi where he owns a sprawling edifice amongst several properties he owns. His sprawling land on Alexander Road, Ikoyi, Lagos is where his beloved daughter, Mariam Afolabi, who is the Executive Director, Compliance, Sifax Group uses for her many businesses away from her 9 to 5. Amongst other things that Mariam does, she's an award winning designer formerly known as Mademoiselle Aglaia. One of Doctor's other sons, is 'Damilola AbdulRazak Afolabi', the famous musician better known as L.A.X, a protégé of Wizkid known very much for that popular song Caro. He now owns his own label Rasaki Music Group. His eldest son, Yinka had one of the top 3 biggest weddings of 2018, that spanned Ibadan and Lagos.

Dr. Afolabi is married to the equally highly cerebral, Mrs. Folashade Afolabi.

Happy birthday boss. Long may you live. May your generosity never cease.

DABOTA LAWSON CEO OF SELF NAMED COSMETICS BRAND COVERS EM.

Ex-beauty queen, mother of one and rising entrepreneur 'Dabota Lawson' gets all our undivided attention this morning, as she's the cover star for the newest edition of EM, that's talking about 'Exquisite Magazine' the digital edition.

The self named (eponymous) make up brand owner is all shades of hotness on this issue that you have to subscribe to read. We are too sure that the 6 footer with the bodacious body that would give Jessica Rabbit a run for her money, who always always looks stunning in her pictures on the gram, would be opening up to us all on her steady and sure rise to stardom and fame. Loads of us her fans would want to know what it takes to become a success and what one needs to do to achieve it. Being one she should able to give us 1 or 2 sure advise.

The fashionista socialite cum celebrity in the last few years even after a failed marriage has not allowed one unfortunate misstep, to cramp her style or overshadow her success at all. She has shown to the world the definition of doggedness and hardwork and the need to develop one self, while not waiting for one man or the other to pick the bills. Not only does she own her own make-up brand which we hear is getting more and more popular by the hour, she being the best one to advertise the products in her range herself. She also owns a mini shopping complex along Admiralty, Lekki Phase 1, where other shop owners are paying her rent. That's what it means multiple streams of income. We know her to be a very sharp, smart business woman.

So it's not about mistakes or misfortunes not happening at all, especially in a world where there's light and darkness, white and black etc. It's majorly about how when these negative things come, how one stands to handle such and using it as a stepping stone to higher heights & gaining confidence along the way doing it.

So, rush now to subscribe to EM, so you can read all about our Tuesday bombshell - the one and only Dabota Lawson.

As an aside, we saw her at the recently concluded Arise Fashion Week 2019 on the Frow and she was looking extra gorgeous in her indigo blue sexy wrap outfit causing a major stir with her bodacious shape when she got up to stretch those her long legs.

Truth be told, the UBA Group sure knows how to organise a party. So amongst all the banks or better still financial institutions in Nigeria they need to get an award or even awards for always organizing the best parties, events, occasions ever.

With billionaire banker cum businessman, 'Tony Elumelu' as the 'Group Executive Chairman' and with Kennedy Uzoka, one of the highest paid CEOs in Nigeria, whose annual take home is N139 Million Naira as the Group CEO/GMD, the bank seem to be in good hands and great health. So at least once every year, after working so hard through the financial year, there comes that period, that time that's set apart by the Pan African financial institution, which has one of the most impressive spread across the country and outside, and a financial institution that's one of the top 10 biggest banks in Nigeria, to let off steam and those that makes all the magic happen to be well patted on their backs or shoulders in a convivial atmosphere.

The annual event, always packs a whole lot of major punch. With top entertainment brought in to add good vibe, first class guests invited mixing with the top staff members and other members of the group. It is always one of those events to look forward to yearly. So this 2019 edition didn't disappoint at all in all ramifications. Eko Hotel Convention Centre was the right spot picked as the venue. And the place was packed out as expected.

At least, we saw 2 of the incoming new Governors, though they are still Governor elects for now, till they are sworn in. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu of Lagos and Prince Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state were very present. They are both gradually becoming the most visible Governor elects in Nigeria right now. 3 of the royal fathers in the house that came were none less than his imperial majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni Adimula of Ile-Ife, his royal majesty, Oba Rilwan Osuolale Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos and his royal majesty, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, the Emir of Kano, who used to be a director of the bank before.

Some of the other important guests seen were none other than the billionaire Executive Chairman of the biggest bank in Nigeria, Zenith Bank in the person of Mr. Jim Ovia, former Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Sir Emeka Anyaoku, Mrs Maiden Ibru, Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly, Bashorun Dele Momodu Zof Ovation Group, Fidelity Bank MD/CEO, Nnamdi Okonkwo, Nova Merchant Bank, Executive Chairman, Phillip Oduoza, former 1st lady, Onari Duke, top Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and very many more.

Entertainment was provided by such power house musicians and entertainers like Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Phyno, Olamide & Patoranking.

More incredible pictures after the break.

REASONS WHY BABATUNDE FOWLER DESERVES TO BE THE NEXT CBN GOVERNOR

$

0
William Babatunde Fowler

We had written about the likelihood of the Executive Chairman of the FIRS, who also doubles as the Chairman of Joint Tax Board in the person of Mr. Babatunde Fowler becomimg the next Governor of the Apex Bank in Nigeria a few days back and some had expressed their opinions as per what they thought about it. One particular person we had spoken to raised a point saying anyone that must be in charge at the CBN, must be someone that has, one, a banking background and two must also be someone who has a fantastic grasp, knowledge and understanding of the economy and policies of the country amongst several other things needed. And we quite agree too with all of that and more.

But before we go on, it must be well stated here, that this write up here is strictly our opinion and that it wasn't sponsored by anyone, neither was it engineered by any individual or groups of people. And we know very very well that the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, allows us to have our own opinion and allows us the opportunity to also express freely that opinion as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights others.

So away from the above. If one of the major requirements needed for anyone to become the next Governor of Nigeria's number 1 Bank is banking experience, then having spent not less than 2 decades at 2 banks rising to the level of a General Manager, before quitting to join the public service then Mr. Fowler is very well qualified then. For 6 years (84 to 90), Mr. Fowler worked at Commercial Bank (Credit Lyonnais) becoming the Branch Manager of the only branch of that Bank outside her HQ. Then for the next 14 years of his life, he worked at Chartered Bank, where he came in as a senior manager, but left as a General Manager of that same bank after achieving so much. Part of these was helping to increase the branch network of Chartered Bank then, from 2 to 11, in just 5 years! Not to talk of loads of other things he did too. He made Chartered Bank of the top 3 banks in the country in terms of revenue collection for the states and Federal Government agencies.

When he left the private sector to move to the public sector by working for Lagos State for all of 9 years till 2015, he led the LIRS to break every records available and conceivable in revenue generation via tax collection. People generally look at it like, there wasn't anything so extraordinary about what he did or was able to achieve. But for one to have led an organisation, an autonomous government parastatal that helped to shoot what was accruing to that government of a state from [3.6billion monthly to 23 billion monthly], that is something that is unbelievably extraordinary at least to us. To even add to that, if it were so so easy like some have come to claim, how come prior to him coming on board the people there before didn't do a quarter of what he now came to do later.

It was because of his exemplary feat and service to Lagos State, that the Federal government thought it best to see if he could come replicate what he did in Lagos at the Federal level too and truth be said, he hasn't failed at all. For it has been garlands upon garlands, achievements upon achievements since he came on board in 2015. Here is a man that his work and feats have spoken for him. Just like the scriptures has said, in Proverbs 18:16 A man's gift makes room for him, and bringeth him before great men. It's not a matter of rhetoric for Mr. William Babatunde Fowler, but of actions.

Just imagine that N5.32 trillion was what the FIRS contributed to the nation in 2018 alone, that's N1.292 trillion more than what they collected in 2017 (which was N3.3 trillion. That amount 5.3 trillion, is the highest ever collected in the history of Nigeria. And it must be well stated that the revenue has been increasing annually since he came on board. It must also be well noted that, this is part of the funds shared by the 3 tiers of Government annually. And for 2019 alone, the target is N8 trillion Naira. So from the foregoing then, If one is good at what he or she does, the person must be well commended and compensated then.

For someone who has done exceptionally well like he has done already at the assignment that was given to him, surpassing all expectations so glaringly, just imagine then what sanity and revolutionary approach he would bring to bear at the apex bank of and when appointed.. Especially as the current Governor's 1 term tenure would soon be coming to an end. To show how exceptionally good Babatunde Fowler is, even the "African Tax Administration Forum", a body that comprises of all the tax czar in the 38 countries of Africa  recognises that he is a guru par excellence, as he is leading them again on a 2nd term of another 2 years till 2020. He was reelected unopposed by all the 26 members that participated in the election.

So it's like putting a round peg in a round hole.  Like we have always said, "who the cap fits, let them wear it".

William Babatunde Fowler is the man for the job.

Hadiza Tanko Yakasai

Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, the Elegushi of IKATELAND.

The super rich and quite handsome monarch, said to be one of the youngest royal fathers in Nigeria, who reigns over the vast IKATELAND on the island tomorrow, May 3, 2019 in far way Kano State would at a Nikkai ceremony, which we trust would be massive or lush by all standards take as his second wife, the delectably stunning 'Hadiza Tanko, who is the younger sibling of the Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Dr. Umaru Ganduje, that's talking about SalihuTanko Yakasai

The very excited elder brother of Hadiza had taken to his social media pages on both Twitter and Instagram to happily announce the upcoming betrothal, excitedly inviting the whole world to be there to celebrate with the family. The light skinned Hadiza, who is a stunner par excellence we hear has been the hearthrob of the young king who is in his early 40s for a while now.

Hadiza from our findings, is a 'Business Development Manager' at a oil and gas firm. The first wife of "Oba Saheed Ademola ELEGUSHI, Kusenla III" is none other than the super stylish and gorgeous "Olori Sekinat Aramide Elegushi nee Ipaye, who is his wife of many years standing now and between them, they both have 3 very gorgeous and extremely smart daughters.

With Hadiza joining Kabiyesi's growing harem now, it means that there would be 2 oloris in the palace then. Many had speculated over the years about whether the Elegushi would marry more than one wife as tradition stipulates. But many also pooh-poohed the idea then saying that the young king would never marry another wife just out of loyalty to Olori Sekinat Aramide, who he had met when they both were still at the University years back.

When they got married in 2003, making it 16 years come May 24. It was a big event then, with K1 the ultimate and KSA on the bandstand. Now in 2019, with him now as one of the wealthiest kings from the south west, tomorrow's event might turn out as an off the hook thing. Today is what the Northerners refer to as Kamu, a part and parcel of the tradition and culture of the North.

There are  actually 2 pre-wedding ceremonies
First one is called :Wuni (Sa lalle)
This is strictly for the ladies. This is when the bride gets to spend the last bit of free time with her friends and female members of her family, in her fathers house. Then a mixture of henna is made and used to make beautiful designs on the bride's hands, palms and legs. Friends and family also get henna designs on their hands too, but not as elaborate as the bride.

Then there's the Kamu.. (which in actual fact means to Hold. Amarya means the Bride) Kamun Amarya: this pre wedding ceremony adds more color and glamour to the wedding. The Sayan Baki is a negotiation between the grooms men and brides maids, debating on the amount to be paid before the bride is allowed to speak to her groom. The decorations are reminiscence of A mixture between Arabian/Northern Nigeria and Indian culture,.

Congratulations to the king and his newest wife.

Hadiza Tanko Yakasai

Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi Kusenla III

As found on Salihu's instagram page

It was with happiness that many of us reported what we believed was a good news involving his royal majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi Kusenla III getting wedded to his supposed new wife, Hadiza Tanko Yakasai, who is the delightsome younger sister of a Special Adviser to his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr. Umar Ganduje, in the person of Salihu Tanko Yakasai.

Salihu had by himself without being forced put the news out a few hours ago, stating that his sister was getting married to an Elegushi and was inviting all and sundry to the event.

But strangely after the news of the impending wedding had gone viral and with pictures and videos of family members of the Elegushi at the occasion in Kano, a supposed aide of his royal majesty has come out with a supposed press release as seen below, pooh-poohing the whole ceremony and even rubbishing the claim of even the supposed new brother-in-law of the king. According to the so called aide, Oba Elegushi was not at any wedding in Kano at all, but instead was in Lafia, Nasarrawa attending the coronation of an Emir.

Read the full text of the press release below and judge with the evidences available.

"There has been a media frenzy over the wedding ceremony, allegedly holding between Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom and a new bride.

Ordinarily, a wedding ceremony should be a private affair of two consenting adults and families, we however understand the media monitoring of important personalities, which Oba Elegushi is not an exception.

However, we want to appeal to our friends in the media to exercise restrain in the reportage of this private event.

For the avoidance of doubt, Oba Elegushi is in Lafia, Nassarawa State, attending the coronation of the New Emir of Lafia, Hon. Justice Sidi Bage, JSC (rtd).

He is not attending any wedding fathia in any part of the country at this time.

We thank you for your understanding".

Tope Oyefeso
Special Assistant, Public Affairs to Oba Elegushi.

From the above, what the press release has implied outrightly is that Oba Elegushi is not involved in any marriage whatsoever with Hadiza and what that actually states indirectly is that Salihu by that has misled everyone about the whole ceremonies then. So who is saying the truth? The Tope Oyefeso or Salihu Tanko Yakasai.

If Tope Oyefeso says indirectly that Salihu Tanko Yakasai is a prankster who just conjured up the whole wedding ceremony from the figment of his imagination, then the pictures above and below were also part of the great acting too and obviously, his excellency, Governor Umar Ganduje was also part of the newest movie in town then.

See the 2 videos above and then see the other pictures below all, (apart) from the videos were from Salihu's open page on Instagram. You all can check Dan_tanko on Instagram to ascertain the veracity of our claims. And from the screen shot below, you would see where Salihu as Dan_tanko said and we quote "the newest bride in our house. The Olori (Queen) of Oba Elegushi of IKATELAND, Olori Hadiza Tanko Yakasai. My sister is a Queen! Yayness😎💃

And if for any reason they all deny all we have stated, we would do a part 3 stating everything that happened between last night and this morning as concerning the newest Olori in town.

More pictures after the break.

FRIENDS RALLY ROUND OLORI SEKINAT ARAMIDE ELEGUSHI FORMING VOLTRONS & CLAIMING SHE'S THE ONLY AUTHENTIC QUEEN & FINER THAN THE NEW QUEEN👑

The last few days have been a bit shocking and surprising to most as no one ever thought that 'Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III', the Elegushi of the vast Ikateland would ever take another wife to add to his harem. Why anyone would have thought a traditional king in an African setting, especially in Nigeria would marry just one wife beats our imagination though.

Though one of the many reasons many people were of the thought that the Oba and his Olori would just be the only one-just husband and wife, was because of the so called 'tight closeness' between the couple and how they always carry on like, nothing in the world can ever come between them, most especially another Olori from anywhere. Some have even whispered that both husband and wife had had some sort of agreement about it all.

So when the news of the newest Olori in town in the person of her now royal majesty, Olori Hadiza Tanko Elegushi hit the airwaves, it flattened many. As it took them by total surprise and many are still reeling from the shock of it all as we speak. To some its like a dream, some sort of nightmare they are still going to wake up. Why they think it's a nightmare, still baffles us still. And to these people, we would want to ask this question, as the king committed a sacrilege of any sort?

Though, the super gorgeous 'Olori Sekinat Aramide Elegushi nee Ipaye' has not complained at all to anyone (openly at least or that we know of) about anything amiss, especially as it has to do with her beloved husband marrying another wife. Many friends of the very stylish queen and mother of 3, who has remained quiet all through what's going on, have thought best to rally round one of their own and to show their total support to their friends at this time, that some have considered to be a trying period.

So at every given opportunity on the social media, it has been praises galore and unprecedented backslapping, all dropping morale boosting messages to shore up madam's confidence, loads of subliminal messages, confirming her as the only queen etc, so that if paradventure she might for any reason be feeling giddy over what has happened in the last few days.. She would know that she has a solid circle of friends, who are willing to come out openly in support of her.

Kudos must be given to the very dedicated Olori Seki though for her stoic disposition all through everything. The queen in times past, when she was interviewed by one of the best selling newspapers in Nigeria, had stated rather confidently then that, even if her loving husband should contemplate taking a new wife then for any reason, that the heaven wouldn't fall!!! So if she had made that timely assertion then over many months ago, it's then very obvious that for her husband to now take a new wife truly, heaven truly wouldn't fall and in a few months from now all of the unnecessary attention that the action of the king might have brought on the family, would have soon dissipated and everything would have been consigned to history by then. With every one gallantly continuing with life as usual.

But while many of the Olori's friends have thought to boost her energy at such a time like this, acting as her VOLTRONS, forming a circle of defense around her, a popular celebrity lifestyle entrepreneur owner of Larrittsshoevillage, Lara didn't take a chill pill at all in her own affection for the new in coming queen of Ikateland, Olori Hadiza Elegushi. Apparently she had praised the incoming on her social media page before, which didn't go down well with some. So in her open response to those her perceived enemies of progress, she then went totally off the hook against perceived enemies of the incoming queen and herself and warned off some of those who might openly want to come for her to have an open toe to toe. Her words were a clear and open readiness for war!!!!

So it's a battle of sides as it were now.

BAMZE IS SET TO GO HOME, COME MAY 14, 2019 IN LONDON. RIP!!!!!

His friends, family members and associates are still reeling from the shock of his untimely demise. It happened so suddenly that many are still in disbelief till tomorrow. Young man in his 40s, supposedly healthy and doing well, only to sleep and never woke up again.

In his short, but eventful stay on earth, he was a gallant soldier. He came, saw and did his best to conquer but alas, his very best wasn't good enough. He lost the battle to death just last month and it came via, 'Cardiac Arrest'.  Cardiac what???? We all should endeavor to take care of our health and take notice of the tell tale signs, just in case. To think we are too young to die and that we live a healthy life is not just enough anymore. A stitch in time they say, saves nine.

So after the autopsy was done and it confirmed CA, the family have thought not to waste time, keeping his body unnecessarily in the morgue. So come this month of May in London, the body of Emmanuel Babatunde Bamigboye aka Bamze, not his soul nor his spirit which loves forever, would be committed to mother earth. Till we meet again on the day of his resurrection.

He would be missed by so so many people, most especially his immediate family of wife- Tosin and her 2 kids-Zabethy and Bolatide, 14 & 10 respectively.

Bamze was born 27th of July 1974, meaning that had death permitted, he would have clocked 45 in just 2 months time. But alas, the grim reaper had other plans and snatched in him in a cold and cruel manner on 12th of April, 2019, turning that day immediately to a dark, joyless day for all those who knew the gangly gentleman of a guy. Who was just too generous to a fault.

Bamze went to Command Children's School, Ikeja, Lagos. Had his secondary education at Command Secondary School, Ipaja and was an Alumni of the University of Ilorin (BSc Business Administration).

See the whole arrangement below.

Oba Saheed Elegushi & Olori Hadiza Elegushi (queen guchi II)

The King's mom

This is when a picture says more than a thousand words. In Yorubaland it's what they refer to as "oro pe so je" meaning "final answer or end of discussion". The main picture is the first one, all others are just added value.

In the picture, which is obviously a selfie taken by one of the two people in the picture, you can the Alaiyeluwa, Kabiyesi Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi Kusenla III with his 2nd wife, Olori (queen guchi II) Hadiza Elegushi formerly or nee Tanko Yakasai doing cosy cosy in a world of their own, just luxuriating in affection for each other.

It's obvious from their body language that both are hopelessly in love with each other. You all can see how relaxed Olori Hadiza is, in the warm embrace of her handsome, very stylish and super rich husband.

If the feelers we are getting are true, most likely that the new Olori might have a place in Ikoyi, Lagos or like some are suggesting, maybe should would be staying more in Abuja, the FCT than in Lagos. But we doubt that though.

Again we say, congratulations to both the king and his wife. Long may you both live. And like the Yorubas would also say "eyin iyawo ko no me ni oooo", meaning that quite soon, we should be seeing a baby bump!!!

There's the need for us to continually support our very own. Reason being that it makes a whole of sense and the ripple effect of it would go a long way too. We are eagerly awaiting that day, when a top Nigerian home grown brand can stand side by side, shoulder to shoulder with any of the international fashion brands without flinching.

One brand amongst our several home grown brands that's really showing the right sparks for us at least in the last 3 years has been Mai Atafo. Not only has he being honing his craft well steadily and sure-footed in the last few years, he also knows very well how to add the required drama to his showcases every time. There's never ever a dull moment when you watch Mai's catwalk shows and for that alone we say a massive kudos and we know for sure, that the top for him is already is a foregone conclusion. You can dispute it all you like, but for us, Mai's showcase at the last Arise Fashion Week 2019 in Lagos, was one of the highlights of that Fashion Week. He delivered on all counts and in all ramifications for us.

When 2 cool, quite stylish people collaborates, the end result is always totally on point and standout. So when Mai Atafo and the handsome, suave, quite stylish finance guru by name Sonnie Ayere got together to collaborate on the outfit for his beautiful wedding to his superlatively stunning wife Uche, what the groom wore for his nuptial ceremony, which was an hybrid, blue with gold embroidery kaftan ensemble, that quite simply impressed us.

Sonnie the man carried the ensemble that was made to measure very well and added the required oomph!!! Not only that, even the groomsmen outfit were also totally on point too and we salute the whole package.  Uche the then bride, now the wife looked exceptional in her own outfit and her make up, hair everything were on point, it would have been perfect for her to totally upstage her husband. And thank God she didn't, even as she showed like a super gorgeous emerald.

THIS NIGERIA-RWANDA GROWING FRIENDSHIP, MAY IT NOT TURN SOUR SOON. WE HOPE IT WOULDN'T BECOME ANOTHER XENOPHOBIA!

The title above was not what the author of the story whose picture is above gave it. Like he said to us, he doesn't necessarily give titles to his Facebook stories. We have just thought to caption it as we deem ok. Maybe the way the below scenario started, is what has now triggered the nonsense called Xenophobia in South Africa.

So the quicker we do things about it to curb our excesses, the best for all at the end. It is also so that the Rwandans who love us now for our help(s), wouldn't later turn against us soon, due to our corrupting influence.

Read on please.

They stop them from traveling.

To Nigeria.

These Rwandese girls.

Young.

Ravishingly beautiful.

And innocent looking.

Hordes of them staring wide eyed at the airport.

As the immigration officers turn them back.

At the lounge where I sat after seeing them.

One of my fellow travellers.

A Rwandese.

Middle aged.

Male.

Himself headed to Lagos.

Said with a grin as I discussed it with him.

"... you know yourselves. They are just protecting the girls from being introduced to high class prostitution. Rich Nigerians come here, meet these girls, go back home, call them and tell them to get their female friends who are interested in coming to Nigeria. Then they send them tickets. When they arrive in Nigeria they take them to parties, have sex with them and even get their friends to have sex with them. At the end of their week or less stay they give each one at least USD2,500 and send them back. That is 2.2million Rwandan Francs. For you to understand how much that money is in Rwanda, you have to think in this manner; a cleaner earns around 20,000 Rwandan francs a month if working in a residence and 50,000 Rwandan Francs a month if in a commercial office, a cook earns a little above 50,000 Rwandan Francs a month, a security guard around 50,000 Rwandan francs, an entry level university graduate at a bank or even telecoms like MTN earns between 300,000 to 600,000 Rwandan francs a month depending on their department and there you have these young girls earning 2.2 million Rwandan Francs for a weeks work that is packaged as fun."

More after the break.

He stared at me intently as he waited for it to sink in.

Then he continued.

" Do you think these girls can ever aspire to get a normal  job again? No. They get sucked into prostitution, get more of their girlfriends to go to Nigeria and get their cut from these girls. They even arrange for some to service the throngs of Nigerian men who come for weekends here in Kigali. It has become a thriving trade. And our President had said that i  as much as we want our economy to grow and Rwandans to get better high paying jobs, there are certain industries we do not want to thrive in our country. The first of which is the sex industry. Yes we know our women are legendary for their sexual prowess but it is a cultural strength not a skill to earn money. We are not a sex destination. We want tourism not sex tourism. We do not want our young women to be lured into sex trafficking instead of going to school, earnng quality education and getting good dignifiable jobs."

Then he leaned forward.

Serious.

Words measured.

"Do you know that in Rwanda about 60% of our legislators are women? Over 45% of our cabinet ninisters are women. In all industries we have women in high executive positions. In fact during the war to end genocide, women fought side by side with the men in the Rwandan Patroitic Army led by our President Paul Kagame. How do you think we are going to sit back and allow your country men come here and corrupt our women?"

He kept silent as though waiting for an answer and then he continued.

"Nigeria does a lot of great things for our country. They send us lecturers and doctors and nurses, who the Nigerian government pays their salaries. We sincerely appreciate it. Look at me, I go to Nigeria to do good business and I am warmly welcome there. My President celebrates and encourages this actions of Pan Africanism and cooperation but there has to be protections put in place to stop the bad eggs in both of our countries from infecting the rest."

Then he began whispering as though sharing a secret.

" Look in our jails now we have Nigerians here for internet fraud and drug smuggling. It is not that we hate Nigerians but they have to understand that this is a country of laws and a strong judiciary and police. Zero tolerance for any form of corruption. We allow you in relatively stress free. You get your visa at the airport when you arrive. We give you resident permit in tops a week if you show us an empoyment letter or an investment in the country but if you dare break our laws or introduce any bad behaviour you did in your country here, we deal with you no matter who you are or what your country is doing for us. It is as simple as that. Here no one is above the law. You break it, you pay."

Then his voice rose back to normal.

"So yes those girls will not touch the soil of Nigeria if they cannot prove the legitimacy of what they are going for, show us how they earned the money to fund their trip, who is inviting them to Nigeria, their relationship with the person and if they are in school or under 18 they provide evidence that their parents or sponsor or guardian are aware of their trip."

Then he laughed.

"We have to be tough on ourselves because we do not want to become like Nigeria where your passport and your citizens are disrespected all over the world, because your country folded its arms while corruption spread to every nook and corner and allowed the actions of the worst of your citizens define, to the whole world, the character of the best of your citizens."

SCANDAL OF THE MONUMENTAL KIND. WELL MARRIED OFFICIAL WHO HAS ANOTHER WIFE OUTSIDE & 3 KIDS UNBEKNOWNST TO HIS LEGAL MADAM

$

0

To reveal more clues would most likely let all hell loose. This well known official has been married to madam for God knows how long now. They both carry on like it's only them in the world and none else can ever, ever come between them. Madam is totally, and we mean that in every sense of the word, totally smitten by her smart, cool looking husband, who is at the top of his game doing extremely well too at it. They both have a kid or kids between them, adult too, in fact the well known one is married.

Oga's position 'was' as solid as they come, as things have worked very well for him in his career, where he has climbed up to the peak of it and is known to be a guru of a kind at it. Anything above what he is now, is just added favour. He doesn't need more money and that's because he swims in it like it is going out of fashion. But with all eyes on him now, it seems the cookies have started somewhat to crumble. All that he has laid out perfectly all of these years if care is not taken, might just begin to crumble. Just because of ambition, all eyes seem now to be on him and that's rather unsettling and of care is not taken, he could just go with the wind in the ongoing wind of change sweeping in like an hurricane.

He has strong pedigree, as his family name somewhat counts for something. Truth is, his family from mom to sister(s) are also known to be s€¥ freaks too. Infact he has a sister who is a known rampant and said to also be well versed in voodoo too. While he and madam have gone about like their worlds only revolves around each other alone. Oga is known to shoot on the side like his very life or existence depends on it.  Therefore showing his family insatiable appetite is a great family trait. Truth be told, even if he doesn't want to engage in the clandestine game, the ladies by virtue of his position and because also of his avowed generosity always throw themselves at him without a care. Young, old, single etc. So except and unless he is an eunuch who is under the vow of absistence, which he is not near at all, then he would have resisted.

But the real gist of the matter begins here and now. That about 6 or so years ago, unbeknownst to his supposed one and only legal wife from yonder, madam being totally oblivious of this expose, oga in a clandestine way has another wife outside his home. And he tried to somewhat legitimize this 2nd marriage in the traditional way. The thing is, whether that traditional wedding or marriage is accepted under the law, is another thing entirely. Between oga and this his other wife, they already have 3 kids. All of these revelations here are not actually known by the ever doting madam at home.

So that now brings about the question, when does oga plan to reveal his side dealings to his first family? Though we don't pray that nothing bad happens to him, wouldn't that could just open up a pandora's box of dirts that can crush a world or hearts in total disbelief?

Who is this top official? Hmmmmm....... He owns a beautiful beach home, that we have seen before that he uses as the action house for a lot of his clandestine activities a while back. Still in active service though, some are speculating he could be removed anytime soon.

The name of this 2nd wife? Hmmmmmmm, we wouldn't want to reveal just yet, but we can describe her well, she's part Kenyan, part Nigerian. Her mom is from the South West, meaning she's Yoruba, dad is the Kenyan.

She owns 2 properties that we know of for a fact, one in Lagos on the mainland and the other is in Dubai, the UAE both allegedly bought for her by her Lothario husband. Like we already said above, they have 3 kids.

THE LOTHARIO'S "SOLITUDEOUS" HIDEOUT. AND THE SERIES CONTINUES!!!!

$

0

This is a continuous series, one that we would examine and explore from many different angles, just as the subject matter, who we have tagged as the 'unrepentant lothario' has so much about him & so much going on to write a series like Scandal on or better still a scandalous blockbusting movie about. He is one person, that has greatly enjoyed the benefit of the office so much.

The list of his conquest is rather very outstanding and a long one at that and we are presently compiling the list and that should come out or would be ready, in a part 3 of the series that's building up by the day. It's in fact a very long list that would shock and astound all. The man is in a special class of his own as he is an avowed generous giver. Car gifts, apartments gifts, shop gifts, money gifts. He is the ultimate Father Xmas, the do gooder par excellence.

Truth be told, as long as you can get to him, either you are male or female he is ever willing to help you. But the ladies are far far more in number and they have something in return to offer than the guys. And our man who seem to have an :insatiable appetite' for the 'bermuda triangle' cannot but cave in and we hear he is always willing to and would help, but the ladies, most of them young and impressionable are so many it is staggering.

We all know that many of these young ladies have turned chasing after men in great positions or those that have the means, into an art form. They go at it like their very life depends on it, getting these men, is their most important task as it is their jump off to a life of fun and enjoyment. If they are favoured, then they hit pay dirt and it's a change of life, status and existence for the better for them. It comes with getting good accommodation which is quite important, especially for the super smart ones amongst them, who would rather buy and not rent. Cars gifts are like a dime in a dozen. Some even open shops/stores. For those in paid employment, their positions or growth trajectory can be influenced or they are just especially favoured.

So because of what they hope to get, they go after these men, with extraordinary vigor and focus, some even employing and exploring diabolic means too for advantage.

Our man, super well known at that, whose reputation precedes him has his various hideouts on the island. There is the not so old hotel on that road in Ikoyi, named after the man whose wife named the country. There's also that other one whose bane is synomous with bread production. But the main spot, is that one on the road named named after that super rich General, whose madam is said to be a gemstone collector. It's a place of solitude, away from prying eyes on the island. That's victoria Island to be more precise. And it's a super coded hideout, that took loads of investigating to find out.

From our man's heydays at the helm of affairs at his job in the  centre of excellence, before going to the middle of the nation for a job upgrade, this place of solitude had always been his hideout, his place for very clandestine activities. One major reason for the choice of place, is because it is very very coded, also it is owned by a friend too. So it's a place that's very good, in fact super good for you know what. So our man has at least 3 suites permanently at his beck and call there.

And this is where the game happens consistently.

GODWIN EMEFIELE SET TO RETAIN POST AS CBN GOVERNOR. TO BECOME THE 1ST EVER CBN GOVERNOR TO SERVE 2 TERMS IN OFFICE.

Godwin Emefiele

As it concerns the CBN Governorship position, it seems like it's already a done deal as the incumbent, in the person of Mr. Godwin Emefiele whose first term tenure is gradually winding down and would have elapsed come June 2019, which is just a few weeks away. With his renomination by President Muhammadu Buhari, it means he would be going for another 5 years in office again. Emefiele was 1st appointed 5 years ago by the then President Goodluck Azikwe Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, who had removed the then CBN Governor, who went on to become the current Emir of Kano, that's talking about the then Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, who is now better addressed as Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, HRM, the Emir of Kano.

Many names had popped up in speculation as the likely successor to Mr. Emefiele who prior to becoming the CBN Governor was the MD of Zenith Bank Plc. The reason why many had thought there was going to be a definite change of baton from Emefiele to another person was because none of those who had ever being in charge as the head honcho of the apex bank in Nigeria had ever lasted more than a tenure (first term). They have always been replaced after their first term & only term in office. So with his nomination again for the post by President Muhammadu Buhari, to retain Godwin Emefiele for a 2nd term. If the appointment should scale through, which it would, it would just amount to Emefiele breaking a record as the 1st ever CBN Governor to be retained to do a 2nd term of another 5 years.

Much as many had claimed that the CBN Governor was somewhat docile and had not really stamped his authority on his position and not done anything extraordinary for the Nigerian economy and fiscal policy to retain the post, it seems like the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari have seen in him, what most have not seen or have not being willing to see and not just that alone, there might just be many things that he has done, that have been quite positive and that have worked very well towards the economic policies of the administration, which has sold him very well. So things have worked well for the man not seen by many, to be overly ambitious and not seen to be desperate to want to retain the position. For Emefiele, it looks like he has given credence to the assertion that, good things comes to those who wait or that the patient dog, eats the fattest bone.

So as Emefiele retains his post, that just puts to bed the speculation of the likelihood of the 'FIRS boss', who also doubles as the 'Chairman of the Joint Tax Board', in the person of 'Mr. William Babatunde Fowler' and others also so speculated, taking over from him as the CBN Governor. Those who had tried to sell the idea of Mr. Fowler had thought that him coming on board the CBN was fantastic proposition. But now with the CBN post gone, maybe the super hardworking tax czar would now be considered for a ministerial position instead, as many are of the opinion that a change of baton might actually also be coming up at the FIRS too.

Emmanuel Aigbokhalode Balogun

The story below was so disturbing that we felt others could and should learn a lesson or 2 from it. We saw it and decided to reproduce as it was sent, not adding anything whatsoever.

Please please please. Let's teach our children, so that they wouldn't fall into the wrong hands and cause us grief at the end of the day.  If 17/18 year olds hearts can be so damned and evil, how wouid that heart be, when they are more grown? Just out of envy, they are now liable for premeditated murder. The sad thing though is, if the evil friends have connected parents, they would go scot free. Sad aspect also is, how can an hotel for that matter, not have a standby rescuer (lifeguard) on permanent call. For that negligence alone, the hotel should be held liable and shut down and sued for murder too. It's so sad, because I also lost my younger brother a few years ago, to a swimming pool accident too.

May the soul of the dearly departed 17 year old find rest.

#COPIED THE HEART OF MAN IS DESPERATELY WICKED....WHO CAN SAVE IT?

TRUE STORY.

We live in a very trying and perilous times. A very dear friends undergraduate's 17yr old son got drowned at the Dome hotel pool in abuja last weekend. He was in the company of his friends.

The friends didn't report to the hotel mgt what happened nor to the deceased's (Emmanuel Balogun) parents. They went back to the school (Uni Abuja) hostel immediately after the incident.

On Monday a young girl from uni abuja called the mother of the deceased that they did not see Emmanuel her son in class. She went further to tell the parents it's like something has happened to Emma and ended the call.
The mother called back the line but it was switched off. She notified her husband & they immediately placed a call to their sons number and it was off. They drove that Monday night to their sons hostel but met his absence.

They now got information that a party was thrown for fresh year students over the weekend at the Dome hotel in town. They set forth for the hotel. The hotel mgt told them there was a case of drowning in their hotel over the when'd & directed them to the police. The police now led them to the mortuary, lo & behold it was their son.

Yesterday morning, myself & the deceased uncle went to the police to see the CCTV footage of what transpired @ the hotel. What I saw and later heard yesterday was unbelievable. From the CCTV, we noticed the deceased entered the pool with 3 of his friends and around 3.33am he started struggling in the pool.

His friends where all watching him until he stopped struggling and drowned. They all left the pool immediately and one took his handset the other took his trouser and brought out the money inside the pocket and wore his shoes. They left the hotel around 4.18am according to the footage we saw.

The police went to the school & effected the arrest of the trio and mgt of the hotel. At the DIG's office yesterday afternoon, I heard something that has being giving me cold shivers all through yesterday and right now. One of the boys said that he wanted to raise an alarm to save the boy but the other two boys asked him not to.

That the deceased is always doing shakara because his father his rich, he went further to say that the other one said all the girls are always admiring the deceased so he should let him be joor. This are just mere 17/18yr old boys.

Watching the CCTV footage where the friends were watching him drown and collectively decided, cos there was a time they grouped together to discuss for about a minute & from the confession of one of them is not only traumatic for me but also disheartening.

They watched their "Friend" die out of jealousy & envy. According to them, it was the deceased that paid 2k each gate fee for them and also bought fish and juice which they all drank. This are mere teenagers with that kind of heart.

My people, be extra careful for people you call your friends. According to the DIG, A lot of people are being murdered daily cos of envy from friends. No doubt, There are good and wonderful friends but also, know ye, there are also friend-enemy everywhere.

So be extra careful and prayerful cos the love of many has really waxed cold. The young man was buried today amid tears according to the wishes of his parents but his wicked friends & hotel mgt  are still in police custody at the force headquarters as we speak.

May none of us bury any of our children or young ones in Jesus name. Amen. Beware of jealous & Envious friends, they are more lethal and toxic than acid.  Attached is the picture of the young man whose death would have being avoided.
